Mmg sah Aaron Aziz ni popular. Hari ni waktu BI Tahun 3, topiknya ialah occupation. The boys were suppose to write the name of a popular singer and actor/actress. Satheeswaran came to write the name of a popular singer...guess what, of all the singers, dia tulis P. Ramlee. Oklah....then bila Sachel Ayden turn to write a popular actor or actress....everybody were shouting...."Aaron Aziz". Semua org kenal dia rupanya....cuma sadly they didn't know how to spell his name. Tulah....kalau letak Harun kan senang....ni, dibelasahnya ngeja, Aoran...ha, ambik kau.

Pregnant Lagi Ke????????

Upon seeing me on my way to surau tis afternoon, an Indian secondary boy said "Careful teacher.Watch your step. Remember you are pregnant. You need to look after your baby"......and I was like "huuuh. Bilalah plak aku mengandung ni. X tahu pun".....but looking at his face, he was genuinely concerned. Oklah play along ajelah...."ooh....I will. Thank you". Adoii....FYI, I'm not pregnant. I was having back pain or sakit pinggang....I dunno. If the pain persist, then they'll x-ray me. Funny coz the way I walk is actually akin to people in confinement bukan people anyg pregnant. But one thing for sure, the boys at the school sgt2lah gentlemannya. Everybody was asking how I was doing, why I didn't take longer MC and if they can help me with anything. Auuuww guys...u all melt my heartlah.

Alahai Kembar Mama......

Dah sampai boiling point dia agaknya. Sampai je kat rumah ptg tadi, as usual budak kembar aka reporter CNN memberikan detailed report of their day. Dedek :"Mama, Dedek dah angkat tgn dah, tapi cikgu x panggil pun suruh jawab." Kak Amber: "Mama, Kak Amber dpt hadiah pasal betul jwb kuiz kat assembly tadi". Dedek masih tak puas hati :"Dedek dah angkat tgn dah, diorang panggil Kak Amber plak. Dedek tak pernah pun kena panggil. Asyik Kak Amber aje". Alahai kesiannya dgn Dedek. Guess this is one of the heartache of having a twin sister. Peeps tend to forget u coz bila they saw u, they'll go "Eh bukan ke tadi dia ni dah jwb n dpt hadiah. Pggl org lain pulak lah." This is if peeps don't know you have a twin. Or for those who know, usually they will think that since yr twin had already answered n won, so u tak boleh jwblah. Satu family satu peluang. They failed to look at you as 2 different individuals. Mama :"Tak apa Dedek, nanti Mama belikan hadiah utk Dedek, ok." Kak AMber:"Nak jugak." Dah pulak.....Kak AMber mmg cepat, tangkas dan tepat.

CIkgu : Amboiii...sah2 markah adab akhir tahun awak dpt 1 mcm ni. Yg lain kalau nak dpt 1 silalah gelak. Kalau nak 4...diam dan dengar aje.
Kogilan : Cikku nyanyi best...
Cikgu : Haa...Kogilan cikgu akan bagi awak 4 markah.
Rishi Yank : Cikku nyanyi st best mcm itu Aishwarya Rai.
Cikgu : Kalau nak bodek Rishi, agak2lah. Yg nyanyi tu bkn AIshwarya tapi Lata Mangeshkar. Sah2 suara Aishwarya x sedap, kalau x mesti diorang suruh dia nyanyi. Markah adab 1.....cuba lagi lain kali.

Apa masalah di M'sia ni ya? When voicing opinion kan, they'll end up with name calling or accusations. X boleh ke bila bagi pendapat tu if u x setuju just cakap x setuju becoz of this or that. Dahlah. Ini dahlah siap dgn keluar statement accusing ini x betul, ini corupt. Dan yg paling best bila opinion kita x sama terus suruh kita do more reading, pastu suruh read kat internet plak. Adoii....mcm awak ajelah yg betul. Awak ajelah yg membaca...as if everything yg dkt internet tu semuanya betul. Y can't we argue nicely n even if the other party did not see eye to eye with us, we r okay with that. Ni tak last2 mesti gaduh n u call yrself intelligent......

Actually when talking abt peeps gaduh2 when voicing opinion, I remembered a lesson whereby I did storytelling with my Yr 2 n 3 recently. I was telling them a story titled King of Woods n after I introduced the characters, I asked them who do u think the King of Woods. Obviously most of them chose the biggest animal, the bull moose. A few chose bear n some chose eagle. Nobody chose the little Wren becoz it is afterall little kan so mana boleh jadi "King". What interesting is the way the children reacted. They were so sure they got the rite answer especially the "bull moose" group they start to ridicule their friends. When it became obvious that the bear n the eagle were not the King of The Woods...lagilah berlagak diorang. They were cheering when the bull moose scooped the bear n threw it away. N siap kutuk2 lagi member tu. Kesian grup2 yg salah tu. Monyok n yg kelakarnya bila diorg nak changed group n joined the bull moose group, they did not allow them. Siap tolak2 lagi. It's like kau dah salah kan....salahlah. Mana boleh nak betul2kan. I continued with the story n in the end it turned out that the Little Wren was actually the King of WOods...n this time, the group yg kena kutuk tadi x igt dunia kenakan grup bull moose tu. What they didn't know is that semua pun x betul n yet they berlagak mcm they know everything. IMO, adults n kids sama aje. N this is what I am trying hard to change. During each of my lesson I always try engaging the kids into a discussion n this is when I introduces them adab2 dlm voicing yr opinion. Among it will be to respect others, wait fr yr turn, no name calling n the most important thing is at the end of it they can agree to disagree. Now whoever said teaching jobs is easy....we r not merely teaching them how to read, speak or rite but really it is more than that.


N last but not least....Never argue with fools, coz people watching will have difficulty spotting the fools.

Memory Losslah Sangat.....

While marking my 8-year old pupil's book.."Ishola, I don't understand why u made this mistake. We already discussed n agreed that the statement is false". Was just about to say ...hmmmm u r not paying attention when he quipped "I have memory loss, teacher" with an innocent look on his face. "Ooooo memory loss eh....correction, 10 times. That'll make u remember".

Mengupdate status secara pukal hari ni.. Smlm OTW nak jenguk MAk Uda kat hospital, terjumpa Pak Lang n family, Pak Lang Hamdan n wife dan Pak Long Nazri n wife. Lebih setahun dah x jumpa. Raya haritu, pergi rumah x rezeki nak jumpa. Dpt rezeki rambutan je. Ambik kat depan rumah Pak Lang. Diorang pun 1st time jumpa Baby E. Pak Lang Hamdan tanya..."ni no beghapo Long?" "No. 8 Pak Lang". "Yo ko ni Long...ko kau berlawak jo?" "La betullah Pak Lang...x cayo plak dio. Yg nia no. 7 jadi eh ni no. 8 lah". Adoi jauh den belajar ngiro sampai ko England maghin tu, xkan silap kigho plak.

Nak ikutkan bebudak tu jenis yg brutal x makan saman...alih2 bila suruh tunjuk taring, sang singa dah bertukar jadi tikus. Bkn sebarang tikus plak tu, dah jadi tikus mondok. Tunduk yo bilo nyanyi. Camtu cikgupun boleh buek. Takdo payah nak nyughuh kau do.

Bersemangat bangun hari ni nak masak nasi lemak n sambal sotong. Habis masak ajak bebudak mkn. It was while abt to enjoy the nasi lemak that one of the twin asked me...."Mama, kenapa kalau org putih buat cerita hantu, best. Tapi kalau org Malaysia buat x takut pun...entah apa2 je cerita dia." Alamak, camna nak jwb ni. Igt nak ckp "nantilah Mama bwk korang jumpa KRU ke Mamat Khalid ke...nanti korang tanya." Adoi...cam x intelligent je jawapan. Airmuka nak kena jaga jugak. Then dgn maha confidentnya jawab.."Org putih tu dari anak dia baby lagi diorang rajin bacakan buku cerita. Waktu nak tido baca buku cerita, waktu senggang bacakan cerita. Pastu diorang selalu tanya anak diorang soalan2 atau pendapat2. Tu sebab org putih lebih imaginasi. Dari kecik dah kena rangsang otak diorang utk berfikir dan berimaginasi. Sok-sok bila dah anak korang buatlah camtu....mesti anak korang pandai." Ha dah faham....(jgnlah tanya lagi, Mama tgh nak menghayati sedap ke x nasi lemak sambal sotong Mama harini).
